Congratulations to former LA KISS linebacker Dexter McCoil!
CHICAGO – Former LA KISS Jack linebacker Dexter McCoil was named the Canadian Football League’s Most Outstanding Rookie at the 2014 CFL Player Awards last week in Vancouver, BC.
McCoil (6-4, 220, Tulsa) led the CFL with three defensive touchdowns and led the Edmonton Eskimos with 67 defensive tackles. The former Golden Hurricane defender also logged 10 special teams tackles, four quarterback sacks, seven pass knockdowns, and six interceptions.
Before heading to Canada, McCoil logged 18.5 tackles and an interceptions in five games as a rookie with the LA KISS in 2014.
