Los Angeles, CA (December 10TH, 2015) - The Arena Football League (AFL) announced today their 2016 league schedule, which features the LA KISS playing each team twice throughout the season. The LA KISS will kick off the regular season, on Saturday, April 2nd against the Jacksonville Sharks at Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The new version of the AFL schedule consists of eight teams playing each other at least twice. The AFL American Conference will consist of the Jacksonville Sharks, Orlando Predators, Philadelphia Soul and Tampa Bay Storm. While the AFL National Conference, will feature the Arizona Rattlers, Portland Thunder, Cleveland Gladiators and LA KISS.
The AFL postseason, will feature three rounds of play, concluding with ArenaBowl XXIX the weekend of August 26th. The champions of the American and National Conference will be seeded 1 and 2, followed by the teams with the highest to lowest record, being seeded 3-8. The top four seeds will host first round postseason games, and then the two highest remaining seeds will host the semi-final rounds, the following weekend. The top remaining seed from the semi-final round will then host ArenaBowl XXIX.
Maintaining the momentum from the second half of last season, LA KISS have made several acquisitions on both sides of the ball to bolster the roster, in addition to hiring a new Head Coach for the 2016 season.
